LUKOIL exports of oil products in the first nine months of 2008 grew by 2.5% y-o-y to 19.3 million tons thanks to growing refinery throughputs, the company states. Crude oil exports in the first nine months of 2008 decreased by 10.7% y-o-y to 28.8 million tons. LUKOIL sold 99.4 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products in the first nine months of 2008, which is 0.7% higher y-o-y. The Company decreased oil sales and considerably increased sales of petroleum products. Retail sales of petroleum products increased by 14.4% y-o-y to 10.6 million tons.
