Throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal up 23% to 220,381 TEU in Jan-Nov 08

In January-November 2008, Vladivostok Container Terminal handled 220,381 TEU (+23.2%, year-on-year), the company reports.

In November the terminal handled 21,976 TEU (+14.7%, year-on-year) including 9,226 TEU of export containers and 7,813 TEU of import containers. Loaded/empty containers ratio was 52.15% against 47.85% respectively.

Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC (part of FESCO Transport Group) operates at the berths No 16 and No 17 of the port of Vladivostok from 2003. As of today VCT is one of the largest container operators in Russia. In 2007, the terminal handled almost 200,000 TEU.
