PORT of Tianjin's Dongjiang Free Trade Zone's first specialised container stacking yard will become operational by the end of December, Xinhua reported.
The container yard is located next to the Tianjin Port Pacific International Container Terminal, inside the Tianjin Haitian Bonded Logistics Park, which is a logistics facility jointly developed by Tianjin Port Group and China Merchants International. It covers 50,000 square metres and has an annual capacity of 100,000 TEU. Tianjin Haitian Bonded Logistics Co., Ltd has invested CNY70 million (US$10.24 million) on the facility.
The report said the new facility together with the newly-built 60,000-square metre bonded warehouse will provide customers with comprehensive and convenient services.
