Oil price up to $38.97 in London and to $37.71 in New York

In London, the February Brent Crude contract was up $1.76 on December 26 to $38.97 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude for February delivery climbed $2.36 to $37.71 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Finmarket reports.
