HL hikes rates on Japan-Indian Subcontinent trade route

Hapag-Lloyd has announced  that it will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types shipped from Japan to the Indian Subcontinent, the carrier press release said.

The rate increase goes into effect as from October 1, 2012 and will be: US$ 250 per TEU.

Indian Subcontinent includes the ports in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India.
