Russian coal exports year-to-date rose 17.1% year-on-year (+12.035 mln tons), to 82.265 million tons, the Ministry of Energy statistics said.
In August, the commodity exports increased by 18.6% (+1.71 mln t), to 10.927 million tons.
Coal production in August grew by 12.9% (+3.439 million tons), to 30.187 million tons.
