Acitivity in the Indonesian offshore support market continues to be reasonable, with Scomi Group's marine services unit sealing a MYR120m ($39.2m) three-vessel deal in Indonesia, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The two-year contract with PT Pertamina Hulu Energi for operations offshore North West Java comprises an accommodation barge, a utility vessel and an anchor handling tug.
The accommodation barge Kaspadu, is one of the company's newer vessels and has recently been refurbished to accommodate 288 men. Scomi maintains a regular fleet upgrading and maintenance programme to ensure its vessels meet clients' requirements.
