Moscow Shipyard delivers buoy tender of Project 3050 (photo release)
The state commission signed on October 9, 2012 an acceptance certificate for the buoy tender of Project 3050 (hull number 201, class PPP “P 1.2”) built at Moscow Shipyard. The lead serial vessel was built under the state contracts for upgrade of a fleet of tenders, the shipbuilding company said.
The vessel has a powerful deck crane for deploying buoys, navigational markers, to perform loading / unloading.
The vessel will be docked at Moscow Shipyard until, before the opening of navigation of 2013, and in the spring she will be handed over to FBU Pechersky basin department of waterways and shipping in the Republic of Komi.
The package of 27 modern buoy tenders of Project 3050 was ordered by the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport.
JSC Moscow Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard Moscow Shipyard, part of United Shipbuilding Corp.) is one of Russia's oldest shipyards founded in 1936. Throughout the years the shipyard has built more than 1,800 vessels with a total overall length of more than 52,000 meters. The firm specializes in building of river passenger vessels, fishing boats and 25-m / 50-m-long luxury yachts.
In 2002, the shipbuilding company successfully passed the certification of quality management system according to ISO 9001. In September 2011, the shipyard commenced the construction of high-speed multi-purpose boats MRV14 for Russian ports. Since 2011 the company has been building a series of 27 buoy tenders of Project 3050 and 12 tenders of Project 3050.1 intended for maintenance of ATONs on Russian waterways, and for monitoring the channels depth in all the rivers of Russia. Since mid-2012, Moscow Shipyard has been engaged in the construction of boats for the Russian Navy.
