Wrist Ship Supply expands Asia operations
Wrist Ship Supply has expanded its operations in Asia with the appointment of Lito Navales as Key Account Manager dedicated to the Philippines, the firm has said in an emailed press release, Ship & Bunker reports.
"Asia is a growing market for progressive ship supply strategies as ship owners look to secure efficiencies and streamline the procurement process with an outsourced provider. Our focus is always on building customer relationships so that we become an extension of our customers' businesses," commented Søren Jørgensen, Vice President, Global Sales, Wrist Ship Supply.
"We are confident that placing a Key Account Manager dedicated to the Philippines-based customers will follow the success and growth that we have had in Singapore," he added.
Prior to the appointment, Navales spent 8 years heading up Wrist's Long Beach operation.
According to the press release, Wrist Ship Supply has recently become the world's largest supplier of food and other consumables for vessels, including offshore, with an annual turnover of $3 billion.
