  NYK in Thai Oil VLCC contract

  

  Japan's Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) has penned a deal to ship more oil from the Arabian Sea to Thailand for Thai Oil Public Co, Seatrade Asia online reports. The three-year deal is based on a long term contract for the charter of VLCC Tateyama.
  
  Thai Oil operates one of the largest refinery in Thailand, and started business relationship with NYK in February 2011 with the establishment of a joint venture that purchased VLCC Tenyo from NYK and then chartered it to Thai Oil under a 10-year contract.
