Hanjin Shipping to widen West Australia network
Hanjin Shipping is widening its service network in West Australia by introducing WAX (West Australia Express) from 18 January 2013, Seatrade Asia online reports.
WAX is presently operated by K Line, Hanjin Shipping's partner of the CKYH Alliance, under the name of WASCO (West Australia Container Service) with two of 1,400 teu container vessels sailing between Singapore and Fremantle.
“Hanjin Shipping will be participating in the service by securing vessel slots while launching a new agency to promote sales in the region,” the company said.
Currently, Hanjin Shipping operates two services to Australia, AUS (Australia Service) and CKA (China-Korea-Australia).
