Little change for Singapore bunker prices
Bunker prices in Asia remained fairly on Wednesday, with several ports making steady small mixed movements as others remained unchanged. Colombo saw the biggest movement in the region for IFO380, down $11.00 to $691.50 per metric tonne (pmt), Ship & Bunker reports.
Singapore prices remained fairly steady today, benchmark grade IFO380 moving down $0.50 to $598.00 pmt for a change of just $+0.50 with a $1.00 spread since Friday, and falling $2.50 since last month with a spread of $18.50 in that time. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was unchanged at $681.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $83.00 pmt. MGO climbed $1.00 to $923.00 pmt, down $20.50 since last Wednesday.
Busan IFO380 was steady at $643.50 pmt, down $3.00 from the price last week, and down $10.50 from the previous month. LS380 fell $1.00 to $795.00 making the premium for the low sulfur product $151.50 pmt. MGO at the port fell for a sixth consecutive market day dropping $2.50 to $955.00 pmt, down $16.50 week-on-week.
Hong Kong IFO380 climbed $0.50 to $614.50 pmt, down $3.50 from last Wednesday, and up $7.50 from November 12, 2012. MGO in Hong Kong was steady at $948.50 pmt, down $18.00 week-on-week, and a change of $-0.50 from last month.
Tokyo IFO380 moved up for a second consecutive day rising $0.50 to $647.50 pmt, down $4.50 from last Wednesday, and falling $15.00 from last month. MDO fell for a fourth consecutive day down $1.00 to $943.00 pmt, slipping $14.00 from last week.
