Riga shipyard turnover totaled $37.9 million in 9M06

Turnover of Rigas kugu buvetava (Riga shipyard) totaled $37.92 million in January-September 2006 – similar to the last year level, while the yard’s profit decreased by 6.1 times – to $247.5 thou, the company’s financial report reads according to RZD-Partner. $24.85 million of the turnover falls on vessels repair, $12.44 million – shipbuilding, $576.8 thou – machine-building. In 2005 net turnover of the yard grew by 32.1% - to $54.053 million, profit grew by 3.9 times  - to $1.213 million.
