  Sovcomflot inaugurates new office in St. Petersburg

  

  On December 22nd, Russia’s largest shipping company Sovcomflot (SCF Group) hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Petersburg for the Training Centre (TC) for the Arctic projects, which is located in a renovated building of the new headquarter of Sovcomflot downtown St. Petersburg, the PortNews correspondent reported from the opening ceremony. The center was created for specialized training of ship masters and senior officers of the company for swimming in the Arctic ice.

  The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko, Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Viktor Olersky, Sovcomflot Board Chairman Ilya Klebanov and Sovcomflot President & CEO Sergey Frank.
