According to the forecast of Leningrad region Government, annual cargo turnover of Ust-Luga port is to reach 130-150 million tons by 2015, Grigory Dvas, vice-governor of Leningrad Region, told in an interview to Kommersant edition, the Committee’s press center reports. “By 2010 Ust-Luga is to overcome Saint Petersburg in terms of cargo transshipment and we are going to continue our development. By 2015 cargo turnover of Ust-Luga port is to reach 130-150 million tons,” Dvas said. Currently, Ust-Luga operation is at its first phase. Two terminals operate today: coal terminal and ferry complex. Two more terminals are to be put into operation in 2007.
