In January-November 2006 Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT, port of Saint Petersburg) transshipped 9.7 million tons of oil products for export against 10.08 million tons in the similar period of the previous year, PortNews IAA learnt from the source in Administration of the port of Saint Petersburg. Transshipment of dark oil products totaled 6.5 million tons in the reported period.
In November 2006 PNT transshipped 829 thou tons of oil products for export including 569 thou tons of dark oil products.
POT is the largest stevedoring company of the port specializing in transshipment of oil products. In 2005, cargo turnover of POT totaled 10.8 million tons.
