United Shipbuilding Corporation and RF Accounts Chamber sign cooperation agreement

United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK OJSC) and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation have signed an Agreement of Cooperation today February 1, 2013.

The Agreement provides for the parties’ cooperation in solving the tasks of intended and efficient expenditure of the federal budget funds aimed at preservation and development of scientific and production potential of Russia’s shipbuilding industry. Implementation of the agreements implies information exchange, providing of expert and advisory assistance, setting up of joint work and advisory groups and committees, holding of joint conferences, seminars and round-table meetings.

On the part of the Corporation the coordination and cooperation under the Agreement will be the competence of OSK President  Andrei Dyachkov and Vice-President Sergei Gaidarzhi responsible for the strategic development, information technologies, risk management and financial control. 

United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK OJSC) is the largest shipbuilding company in Russia. It was set up in 2007 with 100% federal ownership. The holding comprises 60 companies and organizations (major shipbuilding and shiprepairing companies as well as leading design bureaus). Currently, OSK consolidates about 80% of the domestic shipbuilding complex. The Russian market is the main focus of the state corporation though it also exports its products to 20 countries worldwide.
