Port Vysotsky LLC ups coal handling by 56% to 395,350 t in Jan 2013
In January 2013 Port Vysotsky LLC increased transshipment of Russian thermal coal by 56%, year-on-year, to 395,350 tons, the company informs.
Port Vysotsky LLC specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. In 2012 the company’s turnover increased by 2.9% to 3,295,727 tons of coal. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 metres. Maximal draft of vessels accepted in the port is 11.9 meters which enables the port to accept 45,000-dwt vessels. From August 2012 the company started handling Panamax size vessels.
