Throughput of Rosterminalugol reaches 1 mln ton year to date
From the start of the year Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 1 mln tons of coal, the company’s press center informs.
The first millionth ton of 2013 was loaded on January 31 to the Selandia vessel.
We remind that in 2012 the first millionth ton was loaded on February 7.
OJSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Ust-Luga commercial seaport. The terminal’s design annual capacity is 12 million tons of coal. Rosterminalugol specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters and depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able to accommodate 240-m-long, 32.2-m-wide vessels. In 2012, coal exports via the terminal gained 26%, year-over-year, to 13.76 million tons.
