Arvydas Vaitkus takes post of DG of Klaipeda State Seaport Authority (Lithuania) (photo)
Pursuant to the 5 February 2013 (Tuesday) Order of the Minister of Communications of the Republic of Lithuania Arvydas Vaitkus was appointed to hold office of Director General of SE Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, press center of KSSA informs.
Klaipeda State Seaport is the northernmost ice–free port on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. It is the most important and biggest Lithuanian transport hub, connecting sea, land and railway routes from East to West. In 2012, the port’s throughput (excluding Butinge terminal) fell by 3.9% to 43.761 mln t.
