Throughput of Commercial Port of Vladivostok down 5.2% to 489,500 t in Jan’13
In January 2013, OJSC Commercial Port of Vladivostok handled 489,500 tons of cargo, down 5.2%, year-on-year. According to the company statistics, the result makes 104% of the plan for the first month of 2013.
Export, import and coastal trade amounted to 244,000 tons of dry bulk cargo, liquid bulk cargo and other general cargo excluding containers and motor equipment.
In the reported period, the company handled 35,073 TEUs of containerized cargo and 4,329 units of export automobiles and motor equipment.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC owns and operates the property complex of the port of Vladivostok, one of Russia’s largest ports in the Far East. It is a part of FESCO Transport Group. Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 17 berths including container, passenger, motor car specialized berths. In 2012 the company’s throughput grew by 4%, to 6,668,100 tons.
