  Thoresen Thai Agencies appoints Prayudh Mahagitsiri as honorary chairman

  

  The SET-listed Thoresen Thai Agencies Plc (TTAI has appointed Prayudh Mahagitsiri as honorary chairman, efective yesterday, company reports.
  Mr Prayudh, a businessman and former politician, will advise TTA's board and management, TTA said in a statement.

  Mr Prayudh is a founder of PM Group, which owns several companies including Quality Coffee Products Ltd, Thai Film Industries Plc, Posco-ThainoxPlc, Thai Copper Industries Plc and Lakewood Country Club Co Ltd.

  TTA last week appointed Mr Prayudh's son, Chalermchai Mahagitsiri, executive vice-chairman supervising the company's strategic direction, investment, risk profle, human resources, and public affairs strategies.

  Mr Chalermchai, the major share-holderofITA, also serves as acting chiefexecutive ofII'A'soil-and-gas services subsidiary, the Singapore-listed Mermaid Maritime Plc, and acting managing director of ITA's coal logistics operated by Unique Mining Services Plc.
