The Lithuanian government and Polish oil retailer PKN Orlen have agreed in principle on the last details to complete the sale of Mazeikiu nafta oil refinery, Interfax reports according to Gazeta ru. The sale of 30.66% of Mazeikiu nafta to PKN Orlen for $851.8 million will be completed before December 15.
Having purchased 53.7% of oil concern from Yukos International for $1.492 billion Polish concern wil be the owner of 84.4% of Mazeikiu nafta. On November 7 European Commission approved acquisition of 100% of Lithuanian concern by Polish concern.
