Man-Tess stevedoring company plans to build a multisectoral terminal for transit cargoes at the port of Riga, RZD-Partner reports. New refrigerator complex will appear at the port in the frames of the project.

This complex is needed for delivery of frozen products from western countries to Russia through application of port and railway infrastructure. According to the data provided by the port of Riga Man-Tess transshipped 1.093 million tons of cargo in the first 10 months of the year (-11.1% against year-on-year result). In 2005, Man-Tess was the fifth stevedore in the port in terms of cargo turnover.
