Pella shipyard delivers azimuth tug project 90600 Gryphon 5 to Gryphon tug company

Another azimuth tug project 90600 “Gryphon 5” was delivered by Leningrad Shipyard Pella OJSC (Saint Petersburg) to the tug company “Gryphon” (Saint-Petersburg). According to the company’s press center, the certificate of acceptance was signed on November 17, 2006. The capacity of the tug is 2500 h.p. The tug is equipped with two 895kW Cummins engines and Rolls-Royce thrusters.

Gryphon company carries out tugging of vessels and other floating facilities at the territory of the port of Saint Petersburg, as well as in Vyborg, Primorsk, Vysotsk, Kronshtadt and Ust-Luga.

Leningrad Shipyard Pella OJSC comprises 11 subsidiary and affiliated companies. Pella specializes on three basic activities: shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and fiberglass production. Pella’s authorized capital amounts to 308 thou 800 rubles divided into 154 thou 400 A-type registered shares and 463 thou 200 ordinary shares with nominal value of 0.5 ruble each.
