Transshipment of oil products via Vysotsk DTC (North-West region) up 36.3% in January-November 2006 amounting to 8 347.702 thou tons, press center of LUKOIL Severo-Zapadnefteproduct LLC. The figure includes export of 1 035.490 thou tons of heavy fuel oil (in 2005 export of heavy fuel oil was not carriedout). Export of vacuum gas-oil totaled 2 895.141 thou tons (+32.9%, year on year), diesel fuel – 4 417.071 thou tons (+96.7%). In November export of heavy fuel oil totaled 147.508 thou tons, vacuum gas-oil– 201.445 thou tons, diesel fuel – 392.895 thou tons.
The construction of a terminal for oil and oil products transshipment started in August 2002 in Vysotsk. The first phase of Distribution-and-Transshipment Complex was opened in July 2004. Its capacity was 4.7 million tons. By the end of 2005 the terminal carried out transshipment of crude oil and vacuum gas-oil. The terminal’s second phase was put into operation in March 2005. In September of the current year the construction was completed after commissioning of the third phase of the terminal. DTC-Vysotsk is to reach its design capacity of 12.5 million tons per year late in 2006.
