Singapore's NOL moves 21 pct less cargo in 4 weeks to March 6
Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), the world's seventh-biggest container shipper, said on Monday it carried 21 percent fewer containers in the four weeks to March 6 versus a year ago. NOL said in a statement its shipping arm APL carried the equivalent of 137,800 40-foot containers on its ships in the four weeks ended March 6. The average revenue from each container fell 16 percent to $2,382.
