Northern Railway increased loading by 0.2% in 11M06

Northern Railway (NRW - branch of RZD OJSC) increased loading of coal by 15.8% to 9.949 million tons in January-November 2006, NRW’s PR service reports according to PRIME-TASS. Loading of ferrous metal grew by 12.1% to 8.039 million tons, chemical fertilizers – by 19.4% to 727 thou tons, chemicals – by 15.8% to 911 thou tons, metal scrap – by 7.6%  to 1.367 million tons, cement – by 27.3% to 826 thou tons. Total loading of NRW grew by 0.2% in January-November to 70.285 million tons. Cargo turnover of NRW grew by 2.1% to 135.117 billion operational ton-km.
