Bunker prices fall in April

The majority of bunker prices in the world's key ports all fell over the course of April, bunker price data from Ship & Bunker has shown.
During the month some ports saw prices fall to not only to their lowest level of the year so far, but in a number of cases to their lowest since July last year.
Singapore IFO380 was down $20.00 for the month of April to $615.00, while Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) at the port fell $46.00 in the month to $650.00.
Rotterdam IFO380 was down $23.00 in April to $586.50 pmt, LS380 was down $29.00 to $598.50, and MGO fell $64.00 to $835.50 pmt.
Fujairah IFO380 dropped $21.00 to $622.00 pmt for the period, while MGO at the port made a gain of $14.50 over the month, ending at $1011.50 pmt.
Houston IFO380 ended the month at $589.50 pmt and $32.50 lower than the start of the month, while LS380 was down $36.00 to $656.00 in April. MGO fell $34.50 in April to $965.00 pmt.
