Cargo turnover of Vladivostok Container Terminal up 21.7% in 11M06

In January-November 2006, container turnover of Vladivostok Container Terminal totaled 133 294 TEU (+21.7 % against year-on-year result) the company’s press release reads. In November 2006 the terminal handled 13 628 TEU (+12.5% compared to November 2005). In November the company’s export totaled 4 739 TEU, import – 4 123 TEU, transshipment of coastal trade cargo amounted to 4 766 TEU. Loaded/empty container ratio was 57.54%/42.46% respectively. According to Valery Mestulov, Director General of Vladivostok Container Terminal, the company has been demonstrating stable growth of cargo turnover through the whole 2006. In particular, in October and November 2006 the company had record-breaking results exceeding those of other years from the moment of company foundation.
