EBRD to grant a EUR 26 million credit for development of Ilyichevsk port (Ukraine)

Proposals on credit project “Development of Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport Infrastructure” has been finalized, press center of Transport and Communication Ministry reports according to ukrindustrial.com. The credit is said to make EUR 26 million. The project implies reconstruction of the berths 7-9 including dredging works (up to 15 meters). The above berths are the part of terminal N2 specializing in handling of general cargo (metal goods), ore, sulfur, fertilizers. After reconstruction summarized capacity of the berths to reach 2.2 million tons per year. The credit is to be granted under guarantees of Ukrainian Government for 15 years with 6-7% interest.
