RZD plans to get RUR 24.2 billion of net profit in 2008

RZD plans to get RUR 10.1 billion of net profit in 2007, Yury Novozhilov, deputy head of the company's Financial Department, said at Russian Obligation Congress, RIA Novosti reports. In 2006, the company’s net profit is estimated to reach about RUR 9 billion. In 2007, the company’s gain is to reach RUR 926.4 billion, while in 2006 it is to make about RUR 809.2 million, 2006 EBITDA – RUR 176 billion, in 2007 – RUR 200.6 billion. Novozhilov also said that total debt of the company will grow by RUR 50 billion in 2007 to RUR 158.7 billion. In 2008 RZD plans to get over RUR 1 trillion in gain and RUR 24.2 billion of net profit. In 2008, the company’s debt will reach RUR 205.8 billion.
