Cargo turnover of Baltic ports up 4.4% in 9M06

115.922 mln tons of freights was handled at the Baltic ports in nine months of 2006 (+4.4% (+4.897 mln tons year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports.
Latvian ports handled 43.3% of total volume; Estonian ports handled 35.6%; Lithuanian ones handled 21.1%.
10 months throughput of Latvian ports increased by 149.7 thousand tons to 50.176 mln tons. Throughput of Estonian ports increased by 2.846 mln tons (7.4%) to 41.241 mln tons; throughput of Lithuanian ports increased by 1.902 mln tons to 24.504 mln tons.
