On November 30, 2013, JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" accepted cruise ship Black Watch with 734 passengers, the last vessel calling at port Saint-Petersburg within the framework summer passenger navigation of 2013, says press center of Marine Façade.
According to the statement, it is the latest call in the history of the Passenger Port.
«As of today, the port is getting ready for winter passenger navigation which is to start in December. Marine Façade will traditionally be a port of call for New Year cruises of Silja Festival and Viking Cinderella ferries», the statement says.
The call of Cinderella ferry at Passenger Port of St. Petersburg as a New Year Cruise will be a premiere for Viking Line. The ferries are expected to take over 3,000 Russian citizens for a New Year Voyage.
JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length – 2,171.06 m.
