In navigation 2013, Saint-Petersburg expects to register 502 calls of passenger vessels. In particular, as IAA PortNews was told at the port administration, 260 ships carrying 497,340 passengers called at Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg (Marine Façade). According to the plan of Big Port St. Petersburg, the navigation of 2013 will be marked by 242 calls of cruise ships and ferries. Exact number of passengers will be available on December 31, 2013 as the navigation at Big Port St. Petersburg is not over.
In 2012, Saint-Petersburg accepted 565 passenger ships including 224 calls (415,219 passengers) at Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg and 341 calls (cruise ships and ferries, 495,056 passengers) at Big Port St. Petersburg.
It should be noted, that the data of the Baltic Customs is different from the above information. The Customs says the number of calls at Saint-Petersburg hit 1,500 cruise vessels.
