Hapag-Lloyd to revise and enhance its Gulf Caribbean Service

Hapag-Lloyd plans to offer its revised and enhanced Gulf Caribbean Service (GCS), the company said in its press release.

The rotation of the current GCS is extended to provide Eastbound and Westbound calls for Santo Tomas De Castilla, Puerto Cortes, Puerto Limon, Manzanillo (PA) and Cartagena. The revised port rotation will be:

Houston • Altamira • Veracruz • Santo Tomas De Castilla • Puerto Cortes • Puerto Limon • Manzanillo, PA • Cartagena • Caucedo • San Juan • Cartagena • Manzanillo, PA • Puerto Limon • Santo Tomas De Castilla • Puerto Cortes • Houston

The GCS with its fixed weekly service and enhanced rotation will provide extensive coverage within the region and excellent connectivity in Manzanillo (PA), Cartagena and Caucedo to other major Hapag-Lloyd services.

The first westbound sailing with the new rotation will be the Wellington Express voyage 1350, departing San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 6, 2014.
