Pechora LNG project will probably sold to vertically integrated oil companies, IAA PortNews journalist cites Igor Feodorov, Governor of Nenets autonomous region, as saying at the III International Forum “Arctic: present and future”.
According to him, the project could be interesting for companies which have an access to the market of LNG export: Rosneft, Novatek, Zarubezhneft and Gazprom.
Igor Feodorov thinks the project implementation could play also a social role for the Murmansk region which could become a consumer of this LNG.
As it was reported earlier, the floating LNG plant is to be located near Indiga to be connected with Pechora field by a 300-km long pipeline. The project investor is ALLTECH Group. The plant is supposed to be built by 2018.
