The first industry agreement for the 2013-2015 period was signed between employers and trade union organizations of the shipbuilding, ship repair industry and marine engineering of the Russian Federation, the United Shipbuilding Corporation's press release said.
The document was signed on November 27, 2013 at the federal and regional shipbuilding enterprises.
Signing of the federal Industry agreement was backed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexei Rakhmanov, President of the All-Russian Trade Association of Employers “Russian Engineering Union” Sergey Chemezov and Chairman of the Russian Trade Union of Shipbuilding Workers (RCF) Alexei Bulanov.
"The effective industrial agreement is the only industry standard for the regulation of social and labor relations at the federal level, which increases the efficiency and stability of the social activities of the organizations of the shipbuilding industry, and allows us to develop effective and responsible social partnership at the local level", the state-owned Corporation said.
The agreement provides for annual wages adjustments for all categories of workers and mandatory monthly transfers of donations by trade unions for cultural, sports and health-improving projects.
The industry agreements are the basis for the development of collective trade union contracts in shipbuilding in order to create such legal norms that will help contribute to social stability in the industry and that is the basis of social partnership.
