Ford is going to include the Ust Luga Port in the logistic chain aimed to ship the components to Vsevolzhskiy Plant and the cars, the company informed.
Dec. 12 the meeting between the representatives of the Ust Luga Port top maangers and Ford of Europe, Ford Motor Company and Ust Luga Company was held.
Yug-2 multifunctional complex for the processing of the new imported cars is assumed to drive the output to 300th cars a year. It will have 4.5mln ton of cargo in the capacity. By 2007 summer end Ust Luga is going to finish the building of the first stage of the complex. The designed capacity is assumed to be reached 2008-2009.
Ust Luga Company was set up in 1992 as a consumer-builder of Ust Luga Port. The project stipulates the building of the most deep water Russian ports in the Baltic Sea.
