The Yuriy Dolgorukiy submarine to leave for sea trials early in 2007

Russian strategic submarine of the new generation «Yuriy Dolgorukiy» will leave for sea trials in the first quarter of 2007, according to the first vice-president of the committee of the Council of Federation on National Maritime Policy Oleg Tolkachev, ShipbuildingRu reports. Tolkachev noted, that the submarine was under construction at Sevmash long enough, over ten years, but nevertheless the sub is close to completion "it is possible to say practically ready".
