OTAL introduces new services to Africa

OTAL, the West Africa – Europe liner specialist has announced the launching of two new services using 750-TEU ships.The first service, known as the Nord Direct Service involves a fortnightly (14 day) rotation between Antwerp, Le Havre, Casablanca and the northern West African ports of Nouakchott, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown and Monrovia.The second new service is to Angola (Angola Shuttle Service) which offers a dedicated service every 10 days to Angola from Portugal and Belgium, with a rotation of Antwerp, Leixoes, Lisbon, Luanda. This service will utilise four 750-TEU vessels and according to OTAL offers the fastest transit times.From Lisbon to Luanda takes 11 days, Leixoes to Luanda 12 days.
