Maersk launches CRX service

Maersk Line announces that it will upgrade it Europe to/from the Caribbean/Central America coverage. In January 2007, Maersk will introduce the Central America and Caribbean Express (CRX).

The CRX service will offer fixed day weekly sailings. Other features are:

- Fully independent Maersk Line product
- Direct, fixed day weekly sailings from Northern Europe and Spain to the Caribbean and Central America
- Direct, fixed day weekly sailings from Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica to Northern Europe
- Sufficient reefer container capacity for market demand
- Connection to Maersk dedicated feeder network in Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe
- Comprehensive Mediterranean origin coverage connects to the CRX service in Algeciras
- Best in class transit time from South Asia to the Caribbean

The CRX rotation will be Southampton (UK), Zeebrugge (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Algeciras (Spain), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Rio Haina (Dominican Republic), Kingston (Jamaica), Moin (Costa Rica), Manzanillo (Panama), and Southampton (UK).
