Throughput of Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port up 0.9% to 483,800 t in Jan-Apr’14

In January-April 2014, Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC handled 483,800 t of cargo (+0.9%, year-on-year), the company says.

Handling of import cargo plunged 3.8 times to 7,900 t, transshipment of export cargo climbed by 4.8% to 237,200 t. Handling of coastal trade cargo increased by 17% to 236,200 t.

Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC is a multi-profile stevedoring company of port Arkhangelsk. It specializes in transshipment of general cargo, cellulose, cardboard, containers, timber, metal, fertilizers, heavy equipment, loose and dry bulk cargo. In 2013, the company handled 1.425 mln t of cargo.
