DNV GL: Toughening of environmental standards not to increase cost of newbuildings

Toughening of environmental standards will not considerably increase the construction cost of newbuildings, IAA PortNews reporter cites Tor E. Svensen, CEO DNV GL Maritime, as telling journalists in Hamburg (Germany). 

According to him, new standards can lead to large investments into conversion of the existing vessels.
