Ust-Luga Cup 2014 competitors drew lots for their boats

The UL Cup 2014 organizing committee said that representatives of the 10 teams participating in the International Regatta Ust-Luga Cup 2014 have their 45-50 feet yachts settled through drawing lots as follows:

1. Team of Anker Logistic Ltd. - P. Mademoiselle,
2. Team of Morstroytechnology LLC - JESSIKA,
3. Team of  Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC - Midnight Sun,
4. Team of  SMM CJSC - VIKTORIA,
5. Team of  TD Rustorg LLC - Stella Maris,
6. Team of  TransContainer OJSC - Indigo,
7. Team of  Rosterminalugol OJSC - GLORIA,
8. Team of  Ust-Luga Company OJSC - Koryushka,
9. Team of  Russian Railways OJSC - Loco
10. United team of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Russian River Register - Matilda.

The crews have been formed. Ust-Luga Cup is to kick off on June 2, 2014 in Stockholm (Sweden).

Rosterminalugol OJSC (Leningrad Region) has traditionally been the General Partner of Ust-Luga Cup. Ust-Luga Cup Partners are Transoil LLC, BaltTransService LLC, Russian Railways OJSC. Citypoint will provide an opportunity to observe the Regatta races online, via internet. NAVICOM, GetTaxi, Ginza project and restaurant Koryushka are the Partners of the award ceremony which is to be held at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress (Saint-Petersburg) on June 11, 2014.

The project is supported by the Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Sailing Federation.

The first Baltic Regatta Ust-Luga Cup was held in June, 2012 and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of sea port of Ust-Luga. The successful regatta has become a significant event not only for the international sailing world, but for the business and media community as well. Following the regatta success and thanks to the great interest to further development of the project both in Russia and abroad, it was decided to hold the Ust-Luga Cup regatta annually.

Ust-Luga Cup 2014 will be held on June 1-11, 2014. The regatta will follow the former route: from Stockholm (Sweden) till Saint-Petersburg (Russia) via Mariehamn (Finland) and Tallinn (Estonia). The participants and the guests will moor in beautiful places at picturesque islands of Sweden and Finland, visit a bright final show with a parade of sails at the Neva river and the award ceremony at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
