Net profit of RZD OJSC to make RUR 26 billion in 2006

Specialists forecast net profit of RZD OJSC will grow 2.6 times in 2006 to total RUR 26 billion, Vladimir Yakunin, RZD’s president reported at a press conference, RBC reports. The company’s net profit totaled RUR 9.751 billion in 2005 (+11.4% against 2004). The company’s proceeds totaled RUR 748.680 billion (+13.5%), pre-tax profit – RUR 31.363 billion (+18.2%), sales profit – RUR 64.421 billion (+17.8%), gross profit – RUR 67.396 billion (+17.8%).
