Russian company purchases the property of NCS’s Anapa branch

Novorossijsk Commercial Seaport (NCS) has sold the property of its Anapa branch, Interfax-Yug reports according to kuban.info. The source has not named the company or the value having noted only that over 10 companies participated in the competition.  As it was told earlier, the property’s starting price was RUR 49.8 million. The branch’s property includes passenger vessels, buildings and structures. Besides, NCS yielded the right for rent of land plots and berths in favor of the buyer. The decision on Anapa Seaport  liquidation was taken by the Board of Directors of NCS in October 2006.

The seaport of Anapa was founded in 1899. In 1955 the port was reorganized into the unit of Novorossijsk Commercial Seaport. Operational activities were carried out there by NCS’s branch  - Seaport of Anapa. The port is the base for five passenger vessels owned by NCS and serving local passenger lines.
