Russia's trade balance reached $120.7bn in January-October 2006, up 23.5 percent from $97.11bn in the same period a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reports according to RBC. Russia's foreign trade in January-October 2006 was put by the Bank of Russia at $376.8bn, which is a 27.4-percent increase on the same period of 2005. Exports amounted to $248.8bn (up 26.4 percent), imports equaled $128.1bn (up 29.3 percent).
