Cargo turnover of Izmail Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) up 4.2% in 11M06

Cargo turnover of Izmail Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) totaled 6.2 million tons (+4.2% against year-on-year result, the port’s administration reports according to RBC-Ukraine. Volume of transit cargo grew by 30.8% - to 1.7 million tons, export decreased by 3% - to 4.5 million tons. In particular, the port increased transshipment of coal, coke, metal cargo, fertilizers, salt, while transshipment of ore, cast iron, grain decreased. In 2005 cargo turnover of Izmail port grew by 0.13% - to 6.7 million tons, net profit grew by 20.4% - to 2.89 million grivnas.
