Gateway Distriparks is reported to be close to landing a 15-year concession to operate and manage a container freight station at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Terminal from the Punjab Government. A report by CNBC TV18, Mumbai, cited sources saying the company is also expected to clinch a deal from Punjab Conware that is expected to "substantially increase" the firm's capacity. Announcements on the deals are expected soon, although the report said management is declining to comment on the deal at India's largest transshipment terminal. Gateway Distriparks is a state-of-the-art logistics facilitator based in India. It operates modern container freight stations at Dronagiri near Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Navi Mumbai and New Manali, Chennai. It also has an inland container depot at Garhi Harsaru near Delhi.
